Ready to visit? The Welcome Center is a great place to start. Grab a copy of Island Guide, check out their blog and social media platforms, and look at the jam-packed events calendar.

A Texas tradition, Port Aransas and the Texas Gulf shore is an all-year destination with mild weather in the winter months, endless sunshine in the summer, and an infinite supply of activities from rainy day shopping to Saturday parasailing.

Lisa Shelton, the Special Events Manager, loves to bring conceptual experiences to life like the Chocolate Crawl in February to commemorate Valentine’s Day. This past year Covid forced Lisa to cancel some events and make some digital or socially separated, but she gave us a sampling of some of the most popular Port A activities post-COVID, plus a peek at some new ones we can expect to see in the future.

Check out the “Try Something NEW” article. And for a full list of activities, go to visitportaransas.com and click the calendar.
