Who Needs Margaritavilla when you have Lost Shaker of Salt at Palmilla Beach Resort and Golf Community in Port Aransas, Texas

If, like Jimmy Buffett, you are looking for your lost shaker of salt; we found it for you! Craving the sound of ocean waves and the tang of salty air? The sounds of children laughing and gulls circling overhead? Then check out Lost Shaker of Salt at Palmilla Beach. This dream beach house is co-owned by two families and is a super luxurious rental property in the most prestigious and sought-after community in Port Aransas.

For Jason and Jenny from Dallas (along with their two little girls), and Daniel and Lori from Austin (and their six-year-old son, Levi), the Lost Shaker of Salt is their tropical resort oasis, a fantasy destination to decompress and make beautiful memories with family and friends, just a few hours from home. To vacation without leaving the country and enjoy the terrific amenities of the community including the resort style pool, the links golf course, the Black Marlin restaurant, REDS Patio Bar, umbrella set up on the beach, the golf cart-friendly boardwalks that take you right to the beach, and the proximity to downtown Port Aransas, is a dream come true for these two families. Lori tells us that spending a short beach weekend here makes them just as relaxed as a week away in a tropical paradise!

Their airy, breezy, blue oasis has been professionally curated by design professionals and features products from Arhaus, Serena and Lily, and One King’s Lane, and bursts with a coastal, vivacious vibe. After spending previous vacations in the area, both these families decided to buy at Palmilla because they wanted to live the new luxury lifestyle it offers, and its ideal location allows them easy access to the beach, the airport, the marina, and bay fishing in addition to being a hop, skip and jump via golfcart to downtown Port Aransas.

From girl weekends to family reunions, birthday celebrations, and holiday vacations, their beach house delivers not only as a stunning personal refuge but provides investment income as a popular vacation rental property. This ocean-view house is loaded with extras like double refrigerators, double washer dryers, and double dishwashers, so if entertaining is your thing, Lost Shaker of Salt has you covered. There is a full butler’s pantry, a ton of lovely serving ware, a fabulous gas cooker plus two wall ovens, and lots of space for multiple families to spread out and enjoy both adults’ and children’s sanctuaries. The bunk room is an almost soundproof haven for fort building or movie watching and can sleep 8 kids with two full beds and 4 twins, has its own TV, a lounge-like sectional, a swing, and even a sliding barn door.

The house also comes with fat-tire bikes, fishing gear, filled to the brim toy boxes, and a multitude of kites to enchant flyers of all ages. Try the Traeger Wood Pellet Grill and Smoker that infuses your meal with hickory, apple, pecan, cherry, or mesquite flavors and can braise, boil, barbecue, and even smoke your meal! There’s even an ice cream maker for creating uniquely icy delights. And don’t forget the putting green! Frankly, you may never want to leave.

Both families enjoy the off season at the beach too, when the weather is cooler, the crowds thinner, and the town easier to navigate. Lori’s favorite time of year in Port A is autumn, but Lost Shaker of Salt has hosted both families for holidays, like Thanksgiving and New Year’s, opening up a whole new opportunity to experience the beach culture in novel ways. From fireworks to boat-building, from crab boils, to summer concert series, at Palmilla Beach you can create a lifetime of happy memories and at Lost shaker of Salt you can luxuriate in a light-filled home with panache and personality. As Palmilla continues to grow and adds even more opulent amenities, Jason and Jenny and Daniel, and Lori are thrilled to spend more time at Palmilla and lend their home with joy so others can experience all that life offers in the place that does beach best!
